We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Client Services with a successful background in account management, preferably in loyalty marketing with exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Experience working on a travel loyalty program would be a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to develop and drive account planning to improve results for clients while growing the account portfolio. The candidate will continually increase knowledge of the clients’ business (and industry) and serve as the clients’ first line consultant; work closely with Account Managers and other team members to develop proposals/presentations content and strategy for new business pitches; successfully demonstrates the ability to integrate data, analytics, media and creative to deliver marketing solutions; drive agency requirements through effective presentation and proposal recommendation process; and engage with key senior level client contacts on a regular basis delivering a continuous flow of business-building ideas, while securing relationship and performance feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise and maintain continuous communication and good judgment

• Provide direction and problem resolution

• Operate with an approach that integrates high level thinking with day-to-day program level details

• Solutions-focused and proactively provide suggestions to improve the program on an ongoing basis

• Identify and implement growth opportunities for the business

• Provide leadership for Quarterly Client Reviews, including overseeing/directing development of materials internally, and in collaboration with Marketing Services

• Manage client’s annual budget to ensure all initiatives are on time and on budget

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Client Services role is critical

• Solid experience working on a major loyalty marketing program required

• Experience in the travel industry and working with loyalty program communication/marketing materials

• Strategic and tactical marketing experience with a proven ability to drive the successful development of a loyalty program

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent presentation skills are a must — and Salesmanship is a plus

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred

• 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the management of loyalty/rewards programs in financial services, retail or telecom
