Bonnie Hechtkopf

Chair

Bonnie brings a broad educational background and wide-ranging business experience to her role as Chair.

Born in the Boston area, she earned a B.A. in anthropology from New York University and an M.S. in Nutrition and Public Health from Columbia University. For many years, she worked as the financial manager for a small startup cosmetics and fragrance business where she learned firsthand about all aspects of running a business. Always entrepreneurial, she worked in financial management with Jared Hechtkopf in their toy import business. Prior to moving to Florida, she had her own nutrition consulting business in the New York metro area, working with various health care providers.

When Kobie was launched in 1990, Bonnie naturally joined her husband, handling administrative matters and managing the company's financial affairs. She grew with the company and became its President when Jared passed away in May, 2000.

Today, she continues to play a leadership role at Kobie, confident that the company will continue along the path of high professional standards and marketing achievement set by her husband.
