Widely acknowledged as an expert in database marketing, credit card marketing, and consumer behavior, Jared started the business that would become Kobie Marketing in 1990.
Before taking this entrepreneurial step, Jared served as President of the Home Shopping Club and was a Vice President at Citicorp in New York City. He earned a B.S. in Communications from Syracuse University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
A consummate marketer, Jared foresaw and embraced the importance of the computer from the moment the first desktops arrived over 20 years ago. He was a visionary leader of boundless energy, a generous mentor and an inspiration to all those around him.
Sadly, Jared passed away in May, 2000 - way before his time. However, his passion for excellence and high level of professionalism were imprinted on the company psyche, and continue to inspire the Kobie staff in every endeavor.
