The Challenge:

Hawaiian Airlines, the nation's highest ranked carrier for service quality and performance in 2009, hired Kobie Marketing to revolutionize its merchant-funded loyalty rewards program and improve the customer shopping experience.

The goal was to rebuild the HawaiianMiles loyalty rewards program and provide members with more value and an elite shopping experience.

The Solution:

Kobie provided Hawaiian Airlines with best-in-class web mobile technologies, data analytics, and a commitment to deliver the best possible customer experience for members nationwide. To create the new program, Kobie worked with hundreds of top national and local merchants to offer - for no fees beyond the cost of miles - participating partners placement on Hawaiian's website and promotion through newsletters, mileage statements, e-mail blasts, and in Hana Hou!, Hawaiian's award-winning inflight magazine.

With the new program, members will enjoy:

HawaiianMiles Rewards Toolbar - Allows members to earn miles while searching online for participating product partners.

Gift Card Mall - Allows members to purchase gift cards online from brand name retailers and earn miles with their purchase.

HawaiianMiles eMarket - Has tripled the number of available online retail partners to more than 1,000 participants and is now offering more special promotions and bonus-mile earning opportunities for members when making purchases.

Map Search Feature - Makes it easier for members to search for partners and products by category or location, and includes built-in links to Facebook and Twitter for them to share this information with their network of friends and associates.

The Hawaiian Airlines frequent flyer program was already one of the best in the industry and Kobie Marketing has helped Hawaiian Airlines take it to the next level with the new upgrades.

The Results:
