Account Manager

Kobie Marketing, Inc. is a full service marketing firm that provides innovative solutions for our clients’ customer loyalty and retention challenges (B2B, B2C, and B2E). Our award winning agency has an excellent reputation and a 20 year history in innovation. We are experiencing transformational growth and are actively seeking an Account Manager to support a variety of marketing and program operational opportunities for an industry-leading, multi-dimensional points-based loyalty program.

Located in St. Petersburg, FL, the Account Manager will be responsible for supporting one of our largest clients, along with a team of Kobie Marketing professionals. The Account Manager will be skilled at building strong relationships and serve as a day to day contact with clients, marketing partners, and Kobie’s internal resources (Marketing Services, I.T., Creative, and Program Administration). This person will manage a variety of marketing communications, promotions and other program operational initiatives. He/she must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 

The ideal candidate must possess the following:

  • Strategic and tactical marketing experience with a proven ability to drive the execution of print and email marketing campaigns.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Presentation skills are a plus.
  • Attention to detail and an ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Proactive vs. reactive thinker.
  • Ability to work independently, apply good judgment and decision making to solve problems and think on your feet.
  • Deadline driven and proven ability to deliver projects within budget.
  • Responsive to client calls, questions and opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the management of loyalty/rewards programs in either the B2B or B2C arena.
  • Understanding of general marketing principals is a must.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in using the Internet and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advertising or marketing agency experience is a plus.
  • Online marketing experience is a plus.

Web Designer

A marketing firm located in St. Petersburg, Florida is seeking an experienced Web Designer to join our organization and participate in creating Web sites for our national-level clients. The candidate should have excellent creative and technical problem solving skills to join our creative department. Working knowledge of Web site project management is required.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of five years of previous work experience in:

• Dreamweaver. Photoshop, Fireworks
• HTML and CSS2 knowledge necessary
• Javascript and Flash a plus

Systems Administrator

Located in St. Petersburg,  the  ideal candidate has a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience; three years Microsoft Systems Administration, two years Open Systems experience.  Experience required working with Windows 2003 Server, MS Active Directory/DNS, Exchange 2007, VMWare Server, SUS Server, Trend AntiVirus, Windows Vista, Windows XPPro, MS Office 2003/2007, MS Project, Visio, and Apache and IIS Web Servers. Experience in Network Management software, Check Point, Red Hat Linux and Apple a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the back office LAN/WAN infrastructure is maintained and operational.
  • Ensure that office system and its components are properly maintained and operational.
  • Ensure that the Data and Voice Communication systems are configured and operational.
  • Ensure that the staff is trained for systems and software maintained.
  • Ensure that an appropriate degree of security for back office environment is achieved.
  • Ensure that hardware and software components are properly inventoried and that configurations are managed.
  • Be available for off-hours support as necessary
  • Maintain LAN configuration and infrastructure.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all infrastructure components.
  • Monitor all systems and report on key availability and security measurements.
  • Provide training and assistance for systems and software maintained.
  • Maintain appropriate degree of security for back office environment.
  • Inventory and manage configuration of hardware and software components.
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft products/systems and their administration.
  • Average understanding of Linux systems and their administration.
  • Thorough understanding of LAN configuration and administration.
  • Thorough understanding of the Internet and its key configuration components (e.g. DNS, email, http, ftp, IP addressing).
  • Ability to interact well with vendors and employees.
  • Hands on experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting PCs and LANs.
  • Ability to research and evaluate problems or technologies outside current knowledge or experience.
  • Understanding of secure computing environments and the ability to maintain such.

Marketing Analyst

This newly created position is located in downtown St. Petersburg, FL.  We are looking for a Marketing Analyst that has experience in database marketing.

Senior Client Solutions Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Client Solutions Project Manager that has experience with technical client driven projects.  This newly created position is located in downtown St. Petersburg, FL. 

The Senior Client Solutions Project Manager utilizes one or more of Kobie Marketing’s three technology platform suite of product options, including account and transaction file receipt (NDM, SFTP etc.), transaction and behavior based points processing, account, transaction, and points data storage, web site, agent, and IVR interfaces for point redemptions (MQ or other), statement and welcome kit processing, and call center support. He/she reviews and designs complex client initiated Loyalty and Fulfillment strategies and programs. Analyzes and evaluates client initiated changes to existing Loyalty systems to enhance or develop from a business perspective. Defines scope and objectives for projects based on user needs. Creates detailed business and system specifications from which programmers can create technical specifications. Conducts problem analysis and submits recommendations for solutions while following methodology, policies and procedures. Uses the company’s project methodology servers as the project manager for the technical aspects of a project and/or the entire project including both business and technical. Assists in the development of the Product Road Map for Core Releases to strengthen and make the platform strong and a competitive leader in the industry without compromising the integrity of the system or the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex Loyalty problems and issues and offers alternative business solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Loyalty and Fulfillment Solutions to meet external and internal needs.
  • Conduct analysis on complex loyalty problems and leads the cross functional teams to resolution.
  • Design Loyalty Solutions and complete business and system specs/requirements.
  • Lead project teams.
  • Facilitate meetings and leads discussions.
  • Drive new business into the organization with the highest of quality and in appropriate time lines.
  • Seek opportunities to learn and remain current with the business and technical aspects of the Loyalty Industry.
  • Sell and offer product alternatives.

Requirements:

  • College degree and 4+ years of experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in PC applications.
  • Ability to understand external and internal customer expectations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to answer complex system questions and make appropriate recommendations.

Senior Manager Analytics

We are seeking a manager to provide direction and manage the work processes and output of a team of marketing analysts. The Senior Manager Analytics develops and/or communicates strategy to implement the objectives of client based loyalty initiatives and guides others in linking their activities to the objectives. He/she evaluates client needs for quantitative analysis for our growing company. The Senior Manager Analytics takes the lead role in creating and articulating relevant solutions for clients and in developing methods or processes for implementation.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Leads team in addressing and analyzing direct marketing programs using the following tools and techniques:
    • Predictive statistical models
    • Customer profiling
    • Segmentation Analysis
    • Survey Design and Analysis
    • Data Analysis and Mining Financial Analysis
  • Determines quantitative methods for solving client issues.
  • Proposes quantitative solutions to clients.
  • Present ideas and findings to clients. Proactive and effective interaction with other internal groups.
  • Evaluation and improvement of internal tools and processes.
  • Develop team member’s technical and business skills.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Statistics or related field required.
  • 5 or more years experience in quantitative arena, preferably in database marketing, including at least 1 supervisory in the direct marketing area.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
  • Ability to apply statistical techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, analysis of variance, cluster analysis, CHAID, CART, principal components, factor analysis to business problems.
  • Ability to apply other quantitative methods such as sampling theory, probability theory and experimental design.
  • Strong SAS skills are required, including ability to manage data using BASE SAS and SAS STAT procedures. SQL is recommended.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to work both independently and in teams.
