Kobie Took Hawaiian Airlines Loyalty Program in an Exciting New Direction

The Challenge:

Hawaiian Airlines was eager to provide its loyal credit card customers with a rebuilt loyalty rewards program that would add to their incremental revenue. They had multiple goals including increasing partners, incentives, and credit card spend while improving retention. At the same time they wanted to lower their customer acquisition costs.

Kobie’s Solution:

Kobie’s solution was to provide members with more value and an elite shopping experience. A customized approach was developed to dramatically improve the customer experience. We created an online shopping portal and innovative toolbar technology, added hundreds of local and national merchant partners to offer more ways to earn, developed a strong network of strategic partners and relationships to increase value of member benefits.

The Result:

The redesigned loyalty rewards program has shown strong results through a unique merchant partner program. The Hawaiian Airlines eMarket program includes over 1,000 retailers which allow members to earn miles for every dollar spent with participating local merchants. In addition, Hawaiian Airlines has access to information about customers and their buyer behavior. Data is aggregated to drive new partnerships and even better rewards for members.
