As president of Kobie Marketing, Ingrid Lindberg combines her rich expertise in both customer experience and employee appreciation and retention.

Ingrid is an industry game-changer. Her 20-year career has spanned industries across the Fortune 500, including finance, health care, packaged goods and retail. She pioneered the title of Customer Experience Officer (CXO), and was the first CXO in the health care industry.

As founder and CXO of consulting firm Chief Customer, Ingrid has been on the leading edge of differentiating customer experience strategies and cultures, turning theory into practice for global companies in the retail, hospitality and pharma verticals.

As CXO at pharmacy-benefit management company Prime Therapeutics, Ingrid was responsible for developing and leading the implementation of their enterprise customer experience strategy.

Ingrid was also the CXO at health care giant Cigna, transforming the company into a consumer-centric brand. Her role at Cigna was the first of its kind in the country, and demonstrated how improving experiences for health care members results in better health and better outcomes.

Ingrid has been recognized with a “Maverick of the Year” by the Stevie Awards for Women in Business for having the most significant impact on an industry. She also was awarded a 2014 Gold Stevie (http://prn.to/2sql6gn) for the “Best New Consumer Product or Service of the Year” for a tool that simplified health plan selection for consumers into a three-step process.

She’s been named one of the “Global 40 Under 40 in Marketing” for her customer experience leadership and impact on the healthcare industry. Business Insurance named her a “Woman to Watch,” and she’s received Gartner Group’s Gold CRM Award for implementation of her Customer Experience Strategy.

Ingrid’s work has been highlighted in an IBM Global Business Services case study and she has been heavily quoted by top publications including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Atlanta Journal Constitution and Kiplinger.
