Scott Loach
Director of IT Operations

As Director of IT Operations, Scott is responsible for directing Kobie’s security policies, and operational procedures. With his extensive IT security and operations experience, Scott determines the company's long-term systems’ needs to accomplish established business objectives. 

Scott is an accomplished IT industry veteran, with more than 25 years of experience. He came to Kobie after serving for more than eight years at Raymond James Financial Services, specializing in the field of information security. At Raymond James, Mr. Loach directed the firm's global IT security infrastructure and ran its entire firewall and VPN architecture. He was responsible for maintaining a very high standard of network security for over 2,200 Raymond James offices worldwide. He ended his tenure serving as a Senior Information Security Architect (SISA) and a highly visible public relations contact for security-related issues.

Scott has also worked for many years as a network engineer, both in the finance and healthcare industries. Prior to his network engineering concentration, Scott worked as a software developer, engineering applications for use in large hospitals.

He attended the University of Central Florida, where he studied Computer Science and Accounting. He is the founder and president of one of the original user-run Check Point Software User Groups and has been quoted in a number of Check Point articles and press releases worldwide. 

Scott’s IT expertise has been sought after and quoted for articles in publications such as Ziff Davis Baseline, Network Computing, Network World, Computerworld, Tampa Bay Business Journal, and Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Journal.
